Hilo is a small town on the northeastern side of the island of Hawaii. It has views of two volcanos, Mauna Loa, an active volcano, and Mauna Kea, a dormant one. Wheel-thrown, then hand sculpted. I glazed the organic vessel in dark magma to resemble lava.

Clay with black, matte, crackle glaze.
