About
Janette Eusebio is a Phoenix-based ceramic artist whose work is influenced by travel, culture, and the natural world. Grounded in her Filipino heritage and a lifelong curiosity about place, she approaches clay as a way to translate experience into form.
She is drawn to organic shapes, subtle pattern, and surface texture that suggest movement and quiet energy. Working in clay offers a steady, grounding rhythm, one that allows her practice to shift and grow over time.
Background
Janette holds a BFA in Communication Design from Otis/Parsons in Los Angeles. She spent several years in New York City working as a graphic designer before relocating to Phoenix, where she founded Stir Design & Advertising in 2004.
Her background in design continues to inform her ceramic practice, bringing a thoughtful approach to form, structure, and process.
“What drew me to ceramics was the tactile, hands-on nature of it. After years of designing on a computer, working with clay felt like a necessary shift. I’m influenced by texture, patterns found in nature, and cultural references shaped by travel.”
